A collection of photographs can become one of the most personal features in a home. For this Beverly Hills project, Sergio hung a gallery of square photo prints across a wide bedroom wall. The finished arrangement brings many individual images together in four horizontal rows above the furniture.

The three project photographs show the work taking shape and the completed display from two angles. They make the change easy to see: a small section of prints grows into a broad gallery that gives the room a clear visual focus.

Starting the photo wall: rows, columns and spacing

The progress photograph shows the first columns of pictures on the wall, with open space remaining alongside them. At this stage, the repeated square format begins to establish the rhythm of the display. The individual photographs vary in color and subject, while their shared shape gives the arrangement a consistent structure.

Work in progress: the first section of the photo arrangement establishes the rows and spacing.

In a gallery made from many similarly sized pieces, the spaces between them become part of the design. The finished views show the prints arranged as a continuous grid, with narrow gaps separating the images and allowing each one to remain distinct.

A finished gallery that works with the room

The completed photo wall spans the area above the beds and red sofa. Its horizontal layout uses the width of the wall, leaving space below between the display and the furniture. The light wall color provides a simple background for the mix of color and black-and-white photographs.

A second view shows how the gallery extends across the room and relates to the surrounding wall space.

Viewed from the other side of the room, the gallery reads as a single composition. Nearby framed art remains separate from the grid, while the photo collection holds the main stretch of wall together. The result is a personal display with an orderly arrangement.

Picture hanging for a collection, not just one frame

This project shows the difference between hanging an individual picture and arranging a whole collection. Each print has its own place, but the rows, overall width and relationship to the furniture are what make the finished gallery feel connected. Sergio completed the hanging work shown in these photographs as part of his handyman service.
