Custom Marble TV Installation, Planned from the Start

Before the screen goes up, the planning happens behind the stone.

A custom-ordered marble fireplace wall deserves careful planning. For this project, Chain Construction was involved during construction, coordinating the TV mounting location, reinforcement and cable routing with the construction and tile teams before the stone was installed.

Planning the mounting points and any required backing while the wall is still accessible helps reduce later rework and protects the investment in the stone finish. The preparation is tailored to the selected television, bracket and wall construction.

The finished installation brings together a wall-mounted TV, a soundbar and a linear fireplace, with connections concealed behind the equipment and the textured marble remaining the visual centerpiece.

01 / Before TV mounting

Before the television was mounted, the custom marble wall had a recessed connection box and cables ready at the display location. Our involvement during construction allowed the mounting support and cable routes to be coordinated with the tile installers before the stone was installed.

The completed marble feature wall brings the television, soundbar and linear fireplace together between two windows. We joined this project during construction and coordinated the mounting preparation with the tile installers. This front view shows the finished layout, with the connections concealed behind the equipment.
