From screen placement to speaker calibration: the details behind movie night.

The featured dedicated theater was planned around a retractable projection screen with a gaming TV behind it. The owner’s project scope included furniture and acoustic finishes sourced from China, ventilation planning, a Marantz surround system and connections for a PlayStation 5, Apple TV and a media player.

The photographs below also show separate screen and calibration work. Each caption identifies the installation stage.

Dedicated home theater with a retractable screen
We created a dedicated cinema room with furniture sourced from China, acoustic panels, fabric wall finishes, ceiling sound isolation and ventilation work. The entertainment system combines Marantz equipment, surround sound with Dolby Atmos capability, PlayStation 5, Apple TV and a separate media player. A retractable projection screen lifts to reveal a television used for gaming, giving the room two viewing options. Wireless device connectivity adds another way to play content. This photograph shows the projection setup and seating; the room preparation and concealed equipment are part of the wider project.
