Chain Construction / INSTALLATION JOURNAL
Great sound, right where you spend time outdoors.
Landscape audio installation for a pool and BBQ area, with speakers integrated into garden beds and an in-ground subwoofer. These photographs show equipment preparation, placement and installation details.
Plan Your Outdoor Audio System
Bring your favorite music to the pool, the grill and the garden. Chain Construction designs and installs landscape audio systems that blend into your outdoor space, with discreet speakers among the planting and an in-ground subwoofer for fuller sound.
We plan speaker spacing, direction and volume around the places you gather. The goal is even, comfortable coverage with less sound spilling beyond the listening area, so you can enjoy your backyard with your neighbors in mind.
From California homes to restaurant patios, office courtyards and retail spaces, we tailor the audio system to the property, the atmosphere you want and your budget.

Landscape speaker installation in a garden bed
A stake-mounted landscape speaker sits among established plants during our pool and BBQ audio installation. Protective wrapping remains on the enclosure at this stage. The compact garden placement keeps the equipment close to the outdoor listening area without adding a large cabinet to the patio.
02 / Equipment preparation
Acoustic Landscape equipment for an outdoor audio project
The Acoustic Landscape packaging documents the speaker system brought to this backyard audio project. Compact satellite speakers and an in-ground subwoofer are intended to blend into planted areas, providing an alternative to placing large visible speakers around an outdoor entertaining space.

AS41 landscape audio system prepared for installation
This wider equipment photograph identifies the Acoustic Landscape AS41 system selected for the pool and BBQ landscape audio project. The box is shown on site before installation, linking the equipment preparation stage with the garden speaker and subwoofer photographs in this gallery.
04 / Installed placement
Outdoor speaker integrated into the landscaping
An uncovered landscape speaker is positioned low among garden plants beside the lawn. Part of our pool and BBQ audio installation, this placement brings a speaker into the landscaped border while keeping the surrounding outdoor living space visually open.

In-ground subwoofer installation for backyard audio
The visible cap of an in-ground subwoofer sits above the soil beside established plants, with a wire stripper resting on top during installation. The subwoofer adds the bass component to the landscape audio system while most of its enclosure remains below ground.

Close view of a stake-mounted outdoor speaker
This close view shows the speaker grille and ground stake after the protective wrapping has been removed. The compact enclosure sits within the planting bed as part of the backyard music system, keeping the pool and BBQ areas free of freestanding speaker cabinets.

Origin landscape speaker among garden planting
An Origin landscape speaker is shown against the garden planting, with its round grille and mounting support visible. This equipment detail illustrates another outdoor speaker used in the landscape audio work, where placement is planned around the areas people use for relaxing and entertaining.
